CAT stands for; Creating Arts Together. It is primarily, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, for young people living in areas of risk and low-income who are 14 to 18 years of age. (We are flexible and have had younger and older participants)
CAT it is an INTENSIVE ARTS CREATIONfacilitated by Teachers and Staff.
The Teachers are graduates from college/universities in their areas of arts, and as well as, are PRACTICING ARTISTS. Our Methology requires the Teachers to be Facilitator helping the youth toCreate from Scratch original arts and produce a Closing Original TOP SHOW!

CATRiOhappens once a year in the City of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, since 2012.
We do not have words enough to THANK The British School of Rio de Janeiro for the collaboration with Arts & Social Transformation since 2009 in various programs, and for offering, since 2012 the 1st Year of CATRiO, all the infrastructure needed in their incredible facilities in Botafogo, Urca and Barra (different years in different Campuses), the super-delicious and nutritiouos breakfast, lunch and afternoon coffee, and all the instruments and equipment needed to make sure our Young Artists who come from over 20 different areas of risk/slums in Rio, are not only well cared for, but have all the freedom to CREATE in cooperation with others.
